White Rock Resources (“White Rock”) today announced the closing of a continuation vehicle (“the CV”) that extends its ownership of the current White Rock Fund II platform (“Fund II”). The CV, White Rock Opportunities Fund I, LP (“the Portfolio”), will support the platform’s next phase of growth.
The CV enabled existing Fund II investors to crystallize their return, while allowing White Rock to continue expanding the Portfolio’s growth trajectory for the benefit of all stakeholders. White Rock completed the capital raise for the CV with a lead commitment from North Hudson Resource Partners, LP and its affiliated funds (“North Hudson”), alongside a meaningful investment from management.
The Portfolio’s assets are located in the Williston and Permian Basins and have evolved significantly since White Rock’s initial investment in 2015. The Portfolio is currently producing over 12,000 net Boe/d and includes almost 170,000 acres.
“We are grateful for the confidence and partnership of our Fund II investors, and we’re proud of the outcome we’ve been able to deliver for them,” said Rusty Ginnetti, Managing Partner of White Rock. “This transaction reflects the strength of the platform we’ve built, and we look forward to continuing to grow the business alongside both our new and continuing partners.”
“North Hudson is pleased to partner with White Rock as they continue to execute on the optimization and development of the Portfolio’s assets. The CV presents the opportunity to partner with a proven management team that pioneered the redevelopment of the Elm Coulee field,” said Mark Bisso, Managing Partner at North Hudson.
Jefferies acted as financial advisor to White Rock on the continuation vehicle.
