Nitride Global Appoints Brian Stephenson as Chief Operating Officer

Veteran semiconductor & microelectronics executive to lead operations and manufacturing scale-up as Nitride Global enters a pivotal chapter.

WICHITA, KS, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Nitride Global Inc., a global leader in advanced semiconductor materials, today announced the appointment of Brian Stephenson as Chief Operating Officer, effective September 7, 2026.

Mr. Stephenson joins Nitride Global at a pivotal moment as the company transitions from technology validation toward commercial production for its patented aluminum oxynitride (AlON) advanced packaging platform, while simultaneously expanding capacity for its ultra-high-purity aluminum nitride (AlN) materials business. As Chief Operating Officer, he will lead operations, manufacturing scale-up, quality systems, and supply chain.

Mr. Stephenson joins the company from TT Electronics, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Plano resistor manufacturing business, leading high-reliability component production across both defense and commercial programs. Over a career spanning more than 30 years in precision electronics and semiconductor manufacturing, he has held leadership roles across engineering, product management, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and executive management.

His experience delivering to aerospace and defense standards while meeting the cost, cycle time, and volume requirements of commercial customers reflects the dual-market position in which Nitride Global operates. In addition, his hands-on background in advanced packaging technologies, including PVD/CVD, CMP, and metallization, is directly relevant to the processes at the core of Nitride Global’s AlON platform.
