MARINA, CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Monterey Bay Economic Partnership Chief Growth Officer Lavera Alexander is among an outstanding group of women included in eVTOL Insights’ “2026 Women in AAM Special Report.” The special report, published on Monday, Sept. 7, celebrates the achievements, expertise and contributions of women helping to shape the future of advanced air mobility (AAM).

Now in its fourth year, eVTOL Insights’ “Women in AAM Special Report” aims to recognize individuals from all areas of the AAM ecosystem, highlighting the breadth of talent contributing to the industry’s continued growth and success. Past nominees have included a range of AAM professionals — female executives and entrepreneurs, vertiport designers and propulsion engineers, authors and strategists — all of whom are helping to advance and shape the narrative of the emerging advanced air mobility sector. A common thread is a commitment to fostering a safe and sustainable future for the aviation and AAM sectors through mentorship and advocacy for gender equality, diversity, and inclusion.

“The Advanced Air Mobility industry continues to grow because of the exceptional people working across every part of the ecosystem. Our ‘Women in AAM Special Report’ is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the talented women whose dedication, expertise, and leadership are helping shape the future of sustainable aviation,” said Jason Pritchard, executive editor of eVTOL Insights.

The special report is published annually in September as part of eVTOL Insights’ dedicated Women in AAM initiative to spotlight, support, and elevate female leaders across the global AAM ecosystem

“Through her work with the California Advanced Air Mobility Corridors Initiative (CAAMCI), Lavera Alexander embodies the power of dedication and service,” said Monterey Bay Economic Partnership President & CEO Tahra Goraya. “CAAMCI is at the intersection of regional empowerment and innovation, and Lavera is helping turn vision into impactful action.”

As Chief Growth Officer at Monterey Bay Economic Partnership and lead for the California Advanced Air Mobility Corridors Initiative (CAAMCI), Lavera Alexander is leading a $7.45 million state-funded initiative to connect four rural Central Coast airports into the state’s first FAA-compliant, multi-airport flight corridor network. An experienced executive with more than two decades of leadership advancing cross-sector collaboration and transformative impact within the nonprofit sector, Alexander is steering one of the most ambitious AAM infrastructure projects in the country.

“I am honored to be recognized alongside women who have spent years building and advancing the AAM industry,” said Alexander. “I come to this work from a different path, grounded in community and economic development, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute that perspective as the field continues to evolve.”
